Are you planning a trip to the Caribbean for your dream vacation? If you had planned on taking your firearm and/or ammunition with you, think twice. Leave your firearm and/or ammunition at home, or your vacation could turn into a prison stay.

Why? As a tourist, it is ILLEGAL to carry firearms and/or ammunition into the Caribbean. Additionally, declaring firearms and/or ammunition with your luggage with an Airline does NOT grant the permission to do so. You will likely get stopped at customs, taken into custody, and potentially even sent to JAIL!

Don’t inadvertently become a firearms/ammunition trafficker by taking your gun and/or ammunition with you to the Caribbean. It is a CRIME!

So, before you leave, know the laws and regulations of the country you are visiting. It is not the job of Airlines to inform nor educate you, and being ignorant of CARICOM's gun trafficking regulations does not exempt you from JAIL or PRISON time!
