Bridgetown, BARBADOS – March 25, 2024 – United States Ambassador to Barbados and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), H.E. Roger F. Nyhus, and the Executive Director of the CARICOM Implementation Agency for Crime & Security (IMPACS), Lt. Col. Michael Jones met to discuss security cooperation between the United States Government (USG) and CARICOM IMPACS. The discussions centred on critical matters pertaining to regional security, with a specific focus on public safety within CARICOM and especially on the issue of illegal firearms and maritime security.
