Immigration Chiefs and Customs Comptrollers meet to discuss T20 World Cup systems

Chiefs of Immigration and Comptrollers of Customs from six CARICOM Member States hosting the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men's T20 World Cup convened their third meeting in Barbados on from 7-8 May 2024, to finalise discussions on systems and procedures to ensure a smooth and secure tournament.

Representatives at the meeting reviewed and discussed the decisions made by the Heads of Government in February 2024, which included the mutual recognition of visas among Member States.

The countries participating in the meeting included Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago, have committed to implementing measures, which facilitate seamless travel between these nations. The fourth meeting concluded on 17 May 2024, marking a significant step forward in their collaborative efforts.
