On this International Women's Day, I extend my heartfelt gratitude and admiration to each of you for your unwavering dedication, resilience, and courage. Your contributions to law enforcement are invaluable, and your commitment to justice and community safety is truly inspiring.

As we celebrate this year's United Nation’s (UN) theme, "For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment”, we recognise the pivotal role you play in shaping a safer and more equitable society. Your leadership, compassion, and strength are the cornerstones of our collective progress.

In what has traditionally been considered a male-dominated field, CARICOM IMPACS proudly acknowledges the importance of women’s knowledge and skills in contributing to the success of our own organisation. This is evident in the Agency’s workforce, where out of a total of 85 staff members, 45 are female, 4 out of 8 executives and 5 out of 9 managers being women.

Today, we honor not only your professional achievements but also the unique perspectives and skills you bring to our field. Your presence in law enforcement enriches our institutions and strengthens our resolve to uphold the principles of fairness and integrity.
