CARICOM IMPACS supports first responders after hurricane Beryl
09 July 2024
The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Implementation Agency for Crime and Security (IMPACS) is actively supporting first responders who have been working assiduously to assist persons affected by hurricane Beryl.
First responders are usually the first on the scene to face challenging, dangerous, and draining situations as has been the case following the passage of hurricane Beryl which devastated several Caribbean islands including Barbados, Grenada, Jamaica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. These first responders, who have also been affected by the hurricane, have been putting their own needs aside to render essential and often times lifesaving services to their communities and by extension the country.
With this in mind CARICOM IMPACS has been distributing care packages to members of the Royal Grenada Police Force and the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force to help them during this difficult time.
CARICOM IMPACS would like to thank the #1 Beauty Supply in Barbados for their donations and support to this initiative.
