CARICOM IMPACS participates in the 10th Commonwealth Caribbean Association of Integrity Commission & Anti-Corruption Bodies Annual Conference

June 20, 2024 - The Commonwealth Caribbean Association of Integrity Commission & Anti-Corruption Bodies (CCAICACB) successfully hosted its Tenth Annual Conference in Nassau, The Bahamas, from June 10 to June 14, 2024. The conference centered on the theme: “Best Practices in Implementing Integrity and Anti-Corruption Laws in the Caribbean in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”

The conference was facilitated by the Bahamas Public Disclosure Commission, led by Bishop Victor Cooper, with additional support from the Government of The Bahamas, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Royal Bahamas Police Force.

Participants from various Caribbean nations gathered to exchange insights and strategies on leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance integrity and combat corruption. The event featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops, all aimed at fostering collaboration and sharing best practices across the region.
