Mrs. Danielle Jemmott is the Programme Coordinator (Ag.) at CARICOM IMPACS. In this capacity, she has responsibility for overseeing the management and implementation of CARICOM IMPACS’ projects and programmes which are aimed at benefitting the CARICOM Region. She has worked with CARICOM IMPACS for 18 years and throughout her tenure she has led and actively supported the development and implementation of the Agency’s crime and security projects and programmes. Over this period, Mrs. Jemmott has coordinated and implemented projects and activities funded by the European Development Fund (EDF), UN Trust Facility Supporting Cooperation on Arms Regulation (UNSCAR), the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) and the Kingdom of Spain.

Mrs. Jemmott regularly engages with critical stakeholders and international donors in the mobilisation and management of resources required for the implementation of regional projects. She has played an integral role in the establishment and expansion of the Crime Gun Intelligence Unit (CGIU) and the Regional Integrated Ballistic Information Network (RIBIN) both to address the threat caused by illegal firearms, the provision of firearm related training, tools and equipment to Member States, an anti-human trafficking operation and training, enhancement of the regional cyber security framework all in support of the rollout of the CARICOM Crime and Security Strategy. Mrs. Jemmott has presented to regional and international audiences including Ministerial, policy, operational and donor meetings on CARICOM IMPACS’ security projects and programmes.

Mrs. Jemmott holds an MBA, specialising in Strategic Planning. She also has a BSc in Economics with a minor in International Relations. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who is also qualified in the Tender Management Process.
